Also Chris did demo the booster on the YJM and both channels were jumpered. He did mention both volumes were maxed out.

you reckon you had the gate set too high? I usually have mine at about 12ish to retain the sustain.

unstable power outlet seemed to be the issue especially when the attenuation is all the way down.
The powerscaling on the lowest setting is more sensitive to any power supply fluctuations.

I'm looking for an extra cover but unfortunately i'm in the uk. Wouldn't mind paying for the shipping though.

Will be keeping both of mine as well. I'll just switch over to the AFD when I need more gain. It's a keeper for me.

Lol.. I had the same initial issue when I got it, took me awhile to figure it out.

Hold down the both the FX and 50 watt switch and flick the power switch on. Make sure you hold it until the the led lights at the back starts blinking.
All the lights will stop once it is done.

I think the gold logo is pretty cool, goes with all the gold bling on the amp.

currently running it through a EHX Germanium 4 pedal, works really well.

It's normal, nothing to worry. Been assured by Santiago awhile back.
It is similar with the YJM as well.
