Re: FUNNEL OF DEATH

weber has a product called beam blocker, it works like a charm.

Used it on 4 speakers on one part of a full stack with success, but when playing live we want sound straight out

Re: Low Volume playing - attenuation

http://www.tedweber.com/motor.jpg Weber states on their pages Other Weber Attenuators utilize an actual speaker motor to apply a reactive load on the amp. The attenuators are unlike any other on the market, and provide a much more interactive, natural sound when in use. They affect the tone less th...

Re: My Marshall Vintage Modern 2266 - Fender Edition

I'm using coilsplit 25% of the time, and I love the sound.
My guitar has a removed tonecontrol so I use the pickupselector and coilsplit as tonecontrol.

Never liked the hollow sound in my guitars tonecontrol

Re: how to mic VM live

"how to mic" is subjective, because we are talking about tone

There are several good videos at youtube showing the difference in tone.

But center is trebly and outer part is bassy.

We use SM57 on Axis and midway between center and rim.

Re: Attenuator Help

my new weber mass is in transit now, and will replace a Hot Plate

the reason for changing from Hot Plate to Weber Mass is that Weber Mass has selectable Ohm

And of course, if it give's me better sound - - - :laugh

Re: VM used in Back in Black Cover

I might buy a VM with a 425A cab but I allready have a 1960BV cab. How do you like that 425A cab? Do you think my 1960BV cab is gonna be better than the 425A? I'm looking to achieve a heavy punk rock tone. thanks The 425A is excellent, and a lot louder than the MG425 A/B cabs Last rehearsal was Fri...

Re: Pedal Help!

I would have tried the pedal all alone in front of amp with nothing in loop. And powered by battery only.
