i HAVE now the 425A speaker cab and guess what

in a recording enviroment the MG412 is not as bad, so I'm not selling out on this one...

In a live happening, 425 rocks solid

I believe that the HOT PLATE is very overprised. I own a 8 Ohm version, and it's been working OK on my MG cabs, but it didn't give me the attenuation that I believed I would get. Tone suffered, clarity went far away from what I wanted so.... after reading numerous threads and articles about the webe...

What you need is a THD Hotplate - expensive but well worth it to be able to crank your favorite amp without deafening the neighbours!!! (it's also smaller than another amp and you'll be able to use your lovely 2266C anywhere you like :D ) I'm using a THD Hotplate with my 2466 running into the MG412...
