Re: Best Vibe ever, TC Electronic Viscous Vibe

Great review surf, how's the noise floor on the vibe when it's active?

I'm definitely going to check one of these out at some point as I'm a TC junkie.

Re: Alex Lifeson..... The Marshall Wall.. or advertizing

I've seen a couple of pictures and videos from the current tour, the backline changes for each era. So at that point in the show he's got a wall of Marshall, but for example later when they're playing strictly first album he's only got one stack. At another point I believe he's got an H&K behind him...

Re: Post your pedal board

Heh, delay and reverb go in the loop but I do run them out front if the amp doesn't have one.

Re: Post your pedal board

Here's the most recent revision of my board. I added all the holes like a holey board which makes changing out stuff easier, fresh coat of paint and also added an original TC alter ego that some idiot sold me for peanuts (selling my flashback since I don't need two). I have a soul food which I sub o...

TC Group bought by Behringer

In case anyone in these parts missed the news:

TC Electronic and TC Helicon acquired by Behringer owner

I guess we can all take turns making the "Hopefully they'll teach them how to not make crappy products" joke :bgrin

I dig the look, looking forward to the only part that actually matters though: how it sounds.

Re: Soldano Hot Rod

I played one a few years ago, it completely changed everything I thought I knew about guitar amps. Literally everything I played sounded good, it was amazing. I will own one some day

Re: Recorded LIVE Feb 14, 1970.

Hiwatt DR103's, Live at Leeds is pretty much the best live record ever, the guitar sound is ridiculous. It gets a regular spin around my house.

Re: Reverb Bloom?

I agree with Sikter, the reverb is very subtle on that amp which was the main reason I got an HOF. I think you might be having an issue but I'd have to hear it in order give a real opinion

Re: Saw black label society in Camden, London last night

I saw them a few years ago and it was a really fun show in an extremely terrible venue, the guitar sounded like mush and I attribute that to the venue sound system which is the worst of any place I've been to (and it's called the Sound Academy, which is the most ironic name ever). My favorite black ...

Re: New TC Electronic Pedals NAMM2015

Well there's the phaser I'm buying. I may check out the vibe as I love my microvibe but as it's analog it's quite noisey. If the tc does the same thing without the noise it might convince me to change

Re: Ibanez TS808 35th Anniversary vs. TS808

Sort of related, I recently had a guy sell me a Maxon OD-808 for $40, I cannot tell it apart from my TS9 (Maxon era). I loaned it to my buddy this weekend so I'm curious to see if he can hear a difference. I wonder how different this one is.
