New AC/DC video just released

The video that they had a call for audience members is just released.

This is the video that Paul (and Tyler) went to.

Re: JTM45 loudness

I am sure he is talking about HDR. If you are going "Clone" don't mess around with the 30 watt version, have a JTM100 built. Member classicrock88 has one he gigs all the time, PM him. http://marshallroadhouse.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=4759 Hey Surf, that's exactly where I was going with...

Re: JTM45 loudness

Thanks for the info! My concern is not enough volume....last gig our lead was running his 1959 Super Lead on 9 with a power brake down 2 clicks from full open. I think his power tubes are old though as my SL was on 6 and I was running over him a little near the end of the show. Not sure if the JTM w...

Re: JTM45 loudness

Hey Josh are you talking a VM in High Dynamic Range or Low?

Also, more than likely this amp will be seeing greenbacks and/or G12-65's.....so 96db to 98db rated speakers....in 4x12 cabs.

JTM45 loudness

I am considering a JTM45 clone amp but am wondering how loud the amp will be compared to say, the 50w Vintage Modern and the JMP 50 1987?

I had 2266 so I am familiar with how loud that was, both LDR and HDR.

For what it's worth I found the LDR "channel" lacking volume-wise.

Re: Why the hand in pocket rule exists

When I was a kid and played my first tube amp I remember always liking to hear the amp fade away when you turn it off with the stand-by off....at the time I had no idea that was the caps draining off. Maybe that's why I never got bit with HT juice.
Just plain dumb luck.

Re: Ratt-Lay it Down cover '68 Plexi and Greenie style.

Just fuxkin' around with my '68 Plexi and gettin' some really nice tones with it lately. The track I used was bass & drums and all the guitar tracks where added by me. I kinda ran out of time last night recording this so please forgive me if there are any timing issues. Its been awhile since I've t...

Re: Why the hand in pocket rule exists

I watched in disbelief as my left hand shot out and grabbed the tip of my iron. Umm, do you ever feel like driving into the headlights of an on coming car? :bgrin ...that is not an oncoming car, it's two motorcycles riding next to each other! As in 'I dare you to stand between those two motorcycles...

Re: Product Designs that Piss You Off.

Two auto related ones... 1) Why does Chrysler want you to be a contortionist to replace the headlight bulbs? The right side one was obnoxious. I couldn't imagine replacing the left side one that is under the battery tray. Their Dakota trucks had the same stupid setup. These days I find it's easier ...

Re: How about some live pics from the members here ?

Here ya go Surf....making this video public is my punishment for a sloppy show. Deep in Santa Cruz mountains, the Trout Farm Inn. They let us bring the stacks and encourage cranking them up! (Tyler had his super lead on 9 with a power brake set two clicks from full open) Sorry for the rust....was ou...

Re: VERy Short Notice....just a few more hours

Those are great pics! ....mind if I steal one or two for a poster for the next show up here? If you look close, Tyler let the B2B "Mal" borrow my Vintage Modern, which Tyler has....gave him mine as a graduation present. Once I got the Super Lead, and figured out the mod to get more JTM chime from my...
