That's right Holme. ( should you decide to visit New England, I'll send you a map showing where "Witches Hill" is. I totally understand that your wife may not be receptive to the practice of ancient rituals.) :no

Re: What the Fuck was that?

Beside Janet Jackson, this was the most bogus 1/2 time show I've seen. I never liked Madana anyway and this didn't do anything to change my mind. Bring back the best of the marching bands and I'll be happy.

Re: I am about to become a father

Congrats! Surf is right. Time to man up, take care of the overnight feedings and let your wife sleep. If your wife gets plenty of rest it makes it better for everybody. I'll always remember those three o'clock in the morning feedings with my baby son as the one of best memories. Those are moments wh...

Re: I am about to become a father

The only time I remember crying as an adult was loosing a pet an when obama was elected. They were not tears of joy. Some creative ideas for names. Maybe some names that famous guitarists used to name their guitars. SRV named his strat Lenny, Jerry Garcia named his favorite guitar "Tiger", Clapton h...

He's still fluid, great bends, phrasing and A+ vibrato. I'm glad he still uses a singer in the tradition of Jim Dewer.

Re: New Silver Stack and guitar

Cool Guitar and amp. I don't think there's a problem with age. I see older people riding around in old chopped coupes with flames on the side. Jeff Beck comes to mind, but not around here LOL. I don't see any difference. That mini stack is cool. I like the silver finish too. Looks classy. There's a ...

Re: Robin Trower - Bridge Chords for Bridge of Sighs ?

I read a thread somewhere that listed the gauge picks that famous guitarists use. Van Halen was listed as using a thin pick...... I don't know how he does it. Toy Caldwell R.I.P. used his thumb.....again...amazing Mahavishnu John McLaughlin uses the hardest pick he can find Santana uses a huge trian...

Re: Orianthi

She's playing with Alice Cooper ? That seems like a strange matchup to me. The early stuff had some classic and creative guitar riffs. Halo of Flies is one of my all time favorites. I'm gonna see if I can find a video of that song with her playing on it. If I find one, or another from that era, I'll...

Re: Robin Trower - Bridge Chords for Bridge of Sighs ?

I agree about the Trower mojo. I saw him live at Winterland in 1975 with the original Journey opening up for him. Mojo used to drip off the wall there, along with the pot resin. It was a pleasure to experience all those Marshalls with Trower at the steering wheel. I'm sure that was the closest thing...
