Re: HI ALL!!!

Nope, both sides, either or, are fine. It's a moderator issue, which has nothing to do with the O.P.

Re: I miss my vintage modern...

Poor Sully, I'll be glad to pm you my address and you can get rid of your JMD to me. Thanks in advance. My VM was horse shit from the word go, I wanted to love it but it was a dog. Sure, there was a roundness to it, but the hi channel was a small sonic square box to me. The JMD's deliver a big, deep...

Re: Would you be interested in a JMD2

The beauty that became these amps was the drop in price to unload them. With all those editions your talking one of the more expensive amps to ever be manufactured ? :dunno

Re: Would you be interested in a JMD2

I think the idea of the JMD is the "D" is digital = modeller... If you've tried the JMD-1, you'll note what a good job they did capturing the Marshall tones/sounds & in an authentic way. I haven't really tapped into mine yet. I just dialed in the JVM tone & it rocks. Kinda went through all the topo...

Re: Tech 21 Hot-Rod Plexi pedal

Hey Alpeggio, I was really asking an honest question, because I hadn't thought that one watt amp was a mini plexi sounding amp. Everyone interprets tone differently anyway. A clean boost in your situation sounds good.

Re: Tech 21 Hot-Rod Plexi pedal

Alpeggio, are you saying that a JMP-1 is a 1 watt plexi that re-amped at a .1 watt output to anything is that much more authentic than the pedal in discussion?

Re: Would you be interested in a JMD2

Hey Gary, great inquiry. First, to a previous post, I actually played a JMD combo in a Guitar Center store and found nothing of interest. Then the price drop from Korg. No brainer to try...I've tried other Marshalls and unloaded them too so who cares. But, what sold me was how well the JMD accepted ...

Re: Would you be interested in a JMD2

:Scotland I can't believe some would come on to this specific thread about JMD amps to vote NO in the Poll. I know it has to be from the outside of JMD owners, I can't think of one owner who doesn't love it. :Scotland :Scotland TWIN This guy Mike_LA Great suggestions all around, I'm getting by what...

Re: Paganini's 5th Caprice

i'll be kind and actually reference the Vivaldi composition. Nah, you can use your Google. I recorded all 4 seasons a week ago with a Buenos Aires kick, gonna ask Principal Second Violin player what he thinks, from a pro's perspective who teaches kids on both sides.

From P.G. For his effects, Satriani uses a Vox Satriani Big Bad Wah Wah, Vox Satriani Ice 9 Overdrive, Vox Satriani Satchurator Distortion, two Vox Satriani Time Machine Delays, a Voodoo Lab Proctavia, a DigiTech Whammy, and a custom true bypass switch built by amp guru Ben Fargen (Fargen Amplificat...

And how Mike_LA,

Satriani, Hendrix, Gary Moore, all the amps those guys used sucked and were lacking. While you're stiring your pot, throw in some more mary jane.

Re: While I'm Experimenting, has anyone found THIS tone yet?

The beauty of the JMD is it's acceptance of any pedal. Given the plethora of great new pedals coming out, for those of us who procured one or two or even three of these babies, it all just keeps getting better and better. I'm hard pressed to find anything in my life's history that equates. That incl...

Hey Jonny, I'd probably agree with that last statement. Gotta have the right tools for the job.
