Hi I got my JCM2000 DSL 100 serviced at Bletchley in March and it has just started to make a popping noise whilst I'm using it... It's fairly loud and only seems to happen just once 10 or 20 mins into a session....like the sorting of pop you get when switching off sometimes... Any techies got any id...

Both could happen. You are more likely to have a power valve failure then a preamp tube. Just keep a couple of spares with you. Does this mean it was made in 1998?

Also notice that it has two pairs of different make power tubes could this be a potential problem for the amp?
