Re: JMP1 and Bluesbreaker 2 pedal

Thanks Bijou, yes its a classic Plexi tone, glad you liked it. Al You're most welcome. I've got a Marshall Bluesbreaker I pedal (the black one with blue script) I and I find it quite interesting to play with, although I don't very often as I'm so "chuffed" with what I get out of my JTM. Come to thi...

Re: JMP1 and Bluesbreaker 2 pedal

Hi guys, I always wanted to try one of these pedals, and just bought one, I like it and it works well with the JMP1. So a quick knock about to show you how it sounds. The OD setting is full and creamy, while the Boost adds presence which is nice. The first clip is just the amp, The 2nd clip I used ...

Re: post your outdoor gear shots

A little different "outdoor gear" shot - might as well bring some variety into the thread (not everything needs to be narrowly defined). Cars and guitars - jus' call me "whitey" (but only in this thread :bgrin [align=left] http://i812.photobucket.com/albums/zz45/BijouDrains/Cars%20and%20Guitars/Whit...

Re: New Marshall Amps Site and Film

Definitely not "feeling" it from Marshall. The video was just "ok" but the music wasn't at all to my liking. Where are the big amp heads and speaker cabs? I saw one in this vid. This "promo vid" would be more aptly titled "You don't need to be rich to afford a Marshall" so we know it's more targeted...

Re: Post here the pioneers of rock and roll music

Not so much known for their music; but they brought game to their shows. Prior to KISS it was just watching a bunch of people standing on stage glued to one spot for the most part. KISS for what its worth have been going this long for one reason only their shows..... Also please note that beauty of...

Re: My Peter Green Les Paul and YJM Plexi

Thanks Cousin, yeah, Peter can teach me a lot, love the early stuff before he lost it. So I just opened up the Plexi a bit, almost to feedback level, now the guitar comes alive! Have a listen to the difference, it takes a few seconds for me to control it, hence the flat bend. Al That's really begin...

Re: My Peter Green Les Paul and YJM Plexi

The original Black Magic Woman! Needs a tad more volume leading to breakup and roll up the treble (for a sharper sound). That's what I hear, at least with my ears. I really love the early Fleetwood Mac tracks and have the 3 "Boston Tea Party" CD's and listen to them often. Perhaps PG's sound is a bi...

Re: Please Introduce yourself...

Bijou - No worries! It was an older thread that I thought would be fun to bump. I dig the Who fan bit! They are one of my favs. Edit: Anyone else here want to sticky this thread? Thanks. This thread was tucked away quite nicely. I don't know if I would've found it without checking the "recent posts...
