I voted digital because I'm digging the Kemper despite using about 5% of its capabilities at this point. I'm trying to sell a Suhr PT100, Marshall SL5 and Fishman Loudbox Mini as a result of the Kemper. However, the VM and 425 Cab will remain because sometimes you just need a great tube amp to feel ...
The original post is somewhat dated. My 2016 GAS in lauded the SB, Helios, Suhr SL67 and the Astoria Custom. So I bought them all sorta. I picked up a Kemper. Surf's Astoria profiles posted on the Kemper section of this site are fantastic. I am selling off a lot of gear, but not the VM as I agree it...
Thanks for starting this section. I downloaded your Astoria profiles this morning. I only spent a few minutes checking them out, but they are excellent. I definitely hear the VM pedigree in the Astoria. Thanks to you and Kemper, no more Astoria GAS.
I'm slowly learning how to use my new Kemper. I'm looking for profile recommendations . I'm playing through a Marshall 425A cab with the original speakers. Any recommendations for the quintessential Marshall, JTM 45, Superlead and 800 that will pair well with the 425A cab. I'm living in the classic ...
Two big purchases this year: PRS GOM 594 and a Kemper power head and remote. Moved out a PRS P22.
I had Amp gas for a Friedman Smallbox, Bogner Helios, Marshall Astoria Custom and a Suhr SL67. I figured in the end the Kemper would save me space and money.
I just picked up the power head version and remote. I'll be running it through the 425A cab. The VM 2266 isn't going anywhere, but the Suhr/CAA PT100', Sl5 and a few pedals will be moving on as soon as photo bucket starts working again.
