Re: Incoming Marshall 1974x

I have a 2005 1974x. Ive since upgraded the transformers but theres not much difference in tone from before. They had a problem with the earlier transformers so I upgraded before they went. Its a great amp. Great for classic rock. I have some old fenders and this is alot different than those so you ...

Re: 1974x users

My 1974x is a 2005. When jumping the channels with a small patch cable, the channels are out of phase. EX: if you set one volume to say,,3 o'clock you will get lots of overdrive but if you bring up the 2nd volume to the same level, you loose alot of that overdrive. Using an AB box with a phase switc...

I have a Ramble FX Marvel drive. Sounds pretty good to me but my favorite is my Rothwell Hellbender. Sounds really good through a clean amp

Re: Ramble FX Marvel Drive Video by Brett Kingman

I got one of these about a month ago. Very good sounds lurking inside this pedal. I still havent figured out all the sounds available. Normal vol is alot darker than the high treble as you would expect but with this setup it can be matched to different pickups and amps

Strange. Maybe something to do with the out of phase thing i hear about??? It only happens if i crank th...

Re: Anyone have any experience with the 1974x and 2061?

I have the 1974x combo. Great amp especially when its turned all the way or almost all the way up. Same goes for the tone controls. It cleans up really well when you back off on the guitars volume control. I also use alot of different od pedals with a different amp and none of them clean up like the...

Re: 1974x footswitch

When i unplug the footswitch cable the radio signals go away. Also, i hear the RFI even if the guitar isnt plugged in! I wouldnt mind leaving it unplugged but i cant turn off the tremolo effect when it is unplugged and i like the sound of the tremolo channnel without the tremolo effect
