Have any of you guys checked out the new tube packages thetubestore is offering for the 1 watt Marshalls? I dropped a set of their premium package into my JVM1C, and it sounds better than the stock tubes I had in there. It was a pair of Tung-Sols for power and their Mullard replacement for the 12AX7...

It's a great little amp with a lotta chunk and easy to dial in, although I keep my gain pretty low on the red channel - rarely goes above 10 o'clock. For God's sake, use a speaker cable. I blew one up by using the wrong cable.

Well my head arrived. Still waiting on my 1/12 cab and don't have anything to plug it into at the moment. Head is very lightweight.

On the box, the serial number says 2014 02 0057 1. Is that number 57? I haven't opened up the head yet to see if the serial number is inside.
