Re: Eddie .vs Sammy Sammy, Page, John Paul and Jason

They are simply using the media to stay in the picture. The tabloids pay well. Don't believe the hype.

Re: New midified Marshall....

Since there are a load of VST-i's out there. Wich even work on an iPad or whatever pocket sized computer you use (android, windows Linux). It would be awesome if the usb could unlock a mono or stereo fx loop so VST-i's can be used.

Marshall (tube) bass amps deserve a place here!

From the Plexi bass amps, the 200 watters, the great solidstate bass rigs up to the VBA400 deserve a place here on the forum. They have left a mark on the Rock & Roll history. And are since Jimmy Hendrix's bass player used them a mainstay on all big venues. But since the guitar players using Marshal...

Re: Best Marshall

My MA50c right now gives me lots of clean so it is usable in a band. It has one speaker so it's highly portable. It is semi closed back so sounds quite beefy turned up. It gives me three channels and is thus highly usable. All in all to me it is a great Marshall. It's cabinet is probably MDF. So tha...

Re: MA50C and 1966B quite the looks!

http://www.mupload.nl/img/s2u95kc8ol7.jpg edit: fixed rotation and size afterwards. On the amp is the footpedal and a meter to measure ohms of the cab. It's at 8 ohm now. So holds two GT75's at 16 ohm. Have 4 other gt75's at 8 ohm so will swap two so the cab is at 16 ohms and pairs well with the co...

Re: Thinking of retiring from Rock

There is no bad music. Only good music. But stay in front of an audience. They will tell you when stuff gets blurry and when things are clear as glass. So they can follow your journey.

Re: What JMP's are there?

This to me still represents the Plexi style. What happened after this period when the new JMP style evolved. What tops and combo's were born then? http://www.maverick-music.com/wp-content/gallery/031913-marshall/aaa-079.jpg So here is a 1979 JMP 50 combo. Here's the white piping and the large Marsha...

Re: Wet / Dry rig ...

Nice. Besides it's extra dimension to your sound. It allso means your sound will be more consistent tru out different rooms/venues. And a bad room won't surprise you as much as it can with a mono rig. Nice. I have a 4x12 cab wired to 2x12 and 1x12 + 1x12. I did this so One cabinet can do WET DRY WET...
