Re: This is what the 2061x ought to be

Hi-Watts these days are owned by Music Ground. Don't think Marshall should be aiming to follow their lead.

Re: Restock 2466 on the way!

Remember you can buy the speakers that go in the 425A as spares and just load them into your 1936 should you want to.
It's personal taste of course but I'm firmly in the camp that the speakers in the 425A are perfect for the VM.

Re: Thinking of selling my VM ...

For me personally an attenuator is essential with the VM. It's down to personal taste and a lot of guys hate them. However if, like me, you love the sound of the amp cranked to full, it's the only way to go at most venues. I've been using a VM 100w head since 2007 with an attenuator and love it. Alw...

Re: Marshall JVM 410HJS

His last solo album, Black Swans and Worm hole wizards was his Marshall JVM. I believe though he used the JVM210H for that. Memory maybe failing me!

Wouldn't change a thing - however I do use an attenuator with mine. Love the sound of KT66s working hard!

Re: Attentuator on a VM

I use an attenuator with my VM. If you want the sound of the KT66s really cooking its's the only way to go unless you're playing stadiums IMO.

Re: Guitar Center to move off MAP pricing

We don't have MAP in the UK and I know a lot of UK dealers would love to have it. As surf says, the small independent just can't afford to slash prices like the big boys can. That's one of the reasons why the UK has seen so many small music shops close their doors for the final time over the last fe...

I like Chickenfoot!!!! There, felt the need to stand up and be counted. Gonna sit down again now!
Looking forward to getting the new album. Have loved his new Marshall powered tones on the podcasts leading up to the cd going on sale.
