None more black!

Postby SteveD » 13 May 2008, 02:07

I have just been informed that the Vintage Modern Range will also be available in black levant from June. This decision was taken by our Marketing Dept. and is based on distributor feedback.

A choice of either and the shops will stock whichever they want.

Dang I was kinda hopin' they discontinued the purple. Would make ours really "Vintage" in about 25 years. Oh well.... haven't seen how close the purple bronco is yet, but I'm assuming I'll end up special ordering the proper purple tolex just because I'm a perfectionist.

I can't wait to hear the stories in a few months from Guitar Center employees, They have stopped making the Purple, or Buy this purple one we have because its limited edition, so on. If the distributors asked for it and Marshall honored their requests, it is hard to see many stocking the purple when a black is available. Or this is all just a clever trick on Steve's part telepathically knowing that I want to pick up another head as a back up, or for an aby config with low and high range. :) Know it feels like get a purple one cause in a year they will be a pain in the ass to find.
