Acme??? Are you using that stuff? There is so much amp modeling software now, some of it is quite good though in a studio setup. This is why I love the Kemper because it profiles rather then models.

no,no,no. lol. I just thought the head skins, jpg's,whatever they are looked cool.
I do use the older Shred Amp & have gotten it to work well w/ some mods & custom chains.
I'd lovethe Kemper but it's about oh,,,$1975 over the budget right now. :laugh

just ordered my JMP-1 so I'll just have to suffer for now.

There is good stuff in the JMP1, I don't think you will suffer.

How do you use the free VST's? What programme can run them?

pretty much any DAW except for some Pro Tools can run vst's.
you just download them, unzip any that are .zip files & copy the .dll file or the whole thing(depending) to the vst folder in your DAW.

Reaper
Mixcradt
Cubase
Sonar
Audacity (maybe)
Pro Tools is proprietary I think. :Jerkoff

Thanks for the links, I'll give them a try, See how good they are. These days there are some free vst's that are as good as the expensive ones.
