Joe Bonamassa in Nashville

Postby Razzle » 17 Apr 2014, 10:01

Is anyone planning on seeing Joe at all on his current tour? I'm planning on catching him in Nashville Apr 26.

Looking forward to it!

Well I finally got around to uploading a few videos I took of Joe playing at the Ryman Auditorium, Nashville, on 4/26/14. (I know I know, it's been a while). Just thought I'd share the videos.

Of course these are rough shots using my phone, but I was up against a column and it helped me keep my hand still. I know the columns are in the way, but that's the way it is in the Ryman... and worth it, the venue has absolutely fantastic acoustics. These are three videos of some of my favorite Joe Bonamassa songs.

"Sloe Gin"

"The Ballad Of John Henry"

"Django/Mountain Time"

The guys' chops were pretty impressive already at age 16, but it is amazing how much less gain he is using nowadays. His hands have really developed when it comes to making a guitar sing.
