i say wire the cabs so you can stack the 212 on top of the 412 and really push some air!

maybe compromise and make a matching 4x10? 8) i used to play my mesa with the matching 2x12 cab and it would always keep up with a 4x12 as long as i was some where i could turn it up. but at lower volumes i wished i had a 4x12.they just seem to fill the room better. plus the extra height and angled speakers help in low volume situations with no monitor mix. you could always get a live in road case made that would fit the 2x12 and the head. that would probably be like hauling just the 4x12 around but youd have the head and cab. theres so many choices. i say if u can, keep them both. that way you have each for whatever situation arises. you know how it goes, you can never have to many amps or guitars

HEHE, I just sold one of my 2 2x12's today so I put a sweet deal 425B on layaway. So I guess that depends on which one I end up liking better soon.

I bought Faze's 2x12!! :D
I'm so happy! I will finally have the configuration I've wanted since the beginning: a matching VM quarter stack.
I plan on replacing the grill cloth with the correct VM grill cloth and will have to replace the speakers since I have the 2466 and it is loaded with 2 G12Cs. Not sure whether I go with V30s or the Weber reissue version of the speakers in my Twin (I really like the VM though those speakers).

Big thanks to Faze for giving me such a great deal. He put a lot of work, time & money into this cab and as far as we know it is the only one like it.

Eminence Private Jacks are thier take on the greenback, I believe they are about 60watts each, might be a good choice for a 2x12 under your 2466.
