Man that stinks. Is there any chance of getting something from that neighbor? If you rent I'm thinking not unless you have renter's insurance. If you own a condo your homeowner's insurance might foot the bill.

Any way you look at it, it sucks. Sorry man.

Really sorry to hear about such misfortune.
Well, the upside to this story (if there is any) is that now you got a darn good reason to start saving up for a VM!

Sorry bro, I would bum you one of my heads if you were around here. Use the time without the amp to play unplugged, I learn some crazy stuff when I play unplugged because of the way I hear the guitar.

I just knocked over a 30 oz water into my AVT50 tonight,
been a crapy night drying things off and taking the amp apart
to make sure everything was dry

I'm in too. I'm hurting right now as well so I can't do much, but as bluesbrother pointed out, a few dollars here and there can add up pretty quickly.
cs2, I hope your amp is okay. I've made a very bad habit of sitting my beverage of choice on top of my amp while playing. So far I've been fortunate.

Maybe if Steve/Marshall can get Altanon the replacement parts he needs at discount we can all cover the costs here.

I understand your dilemma!!!!
My thought was just one or a few dollars from only the people who are willing
and can easily effort it to turn the bad news into good news.
Your amp being broken was not really your fault so do not feel guilty if we want
to help you out.
Put your pride aside and realize when alot of people donate it is just very little money a person.
A amp and guitar is no luxury to me, it is like eating and drinking.......
We understand your feelings and respect whatever decison you make....

Just thought one way anyone who is short on cash may be able to help. Possibly if anyone has any small musical gear they have laying around that they will never use everyone could just take a little time and throw one or a few things up on Ebay and if they sell then make a donation for the cause. It would not matter if is a big or small sell. I am only refering to things that people may have but will never use, like maybe an extra pickup that will never get used or strings of a guage you do not use, a microphone, some cables that are not being used, a speaker, some guitar tab books, instructional videos, old tubes, tuners, bridges, other hardware, broken gear sold as is, old cases, duplicate CD's. Basically stuff thats not getting or ever gonna get used that could bring in a few bucks towards a PCB board or a used amp. I guess what I am asking is that if anyone reading could make a donation toward the cause and/or take invetory and see if there is anything small that you will not be needing anytime soon take a few minutes and put it up on Ebay to bring a few extra bucks in. Please give it some thought as it really may help make a difference. Thank You!
