Typically when Sensitivity specs are quoted as 1 Watt at 1Meter the test tone is 1Khz.

Don't know the frequency range of this speaker though.

Are you sure - I always thought it was a band from 250 - 4000 cycles!?

No, I'm not positive. Back in the day when I read a lot of Hi-Fi magazines, that was the way sensitivity specs were always quoted. I assumed all speakers were tested that way. You know what they say about assumptions...

In between I asked Dr.Decibel (Celestion), he says they measure from 20 to 20k Hz.

Eminence measure "the usable freqency range".

For HiFi speakers a band from 125 to 4k Hz or 250 to 8k Hz (respectively) is used (Wiki).
