What would a excellant condition Marshall JCM 2000 DSL Orange Crunch head be worth, im looking to purchase one.

How is the over all sound/quality of the Marshall JCM 2000 DSL.The Orange Crunch are they collectable ?

Sure they are collectable. In 1998 Marshall made 100 of the Orange Crunch amps Worldwide. The owner of the Marshall Museum who is on this forum could tell you more then me. (Sigi M) but I believe they are simply a standard DSL.

You could get a regular one and recover it if it is just a cosmetic issue?

I payed for my Orange Crunch Halfstack 1200 USD. If you want the Amp as an addition to a collection I would not pay more than 900 USD. But if you want a "player´s Amp" buy a regular Black one. They are much cheaper.
