How to use the controls on a LP, featuring a 50W MkIII

Postby JCM900MkIII » 24 Apr 2012, 07:06

Hey guys,

I just wanted you all to see/hear this clip.
It's about using the controls on a Les Paul type guitar (2x volume ("output"), 2x tone)
The guy played all this on a 50W MkIII.

Pretty nice examples of what you can achieve with just those controls on a single channel amp.

Enjoy!

Wow that LP gave me GAS. Cool vid, I like his playin.

After going from a 2 channel amp to a single channel amp I've noticed I do a lot more knob turning now. And tbh I prefer the tones you can get, although I find myself being a lot busier switchin pickups and turning knobs...
