Will the standard Marshall fotswitches you can buy from Marshall work on my JCM900 SL-X and Dual Reverb?

I can't be certain about that. But my MkIII didn't have an original.
I used a generic (non branded) 1 button switch.

Is the reverb switchable or just the channels?

You can get an after market pedal for the DR so you can switch channels and reverb on/off. My DR never came with a footswitch and I bought it new.

The Dual Reverb has both switchable channels and reverb, The SL-X has switchable master volumes.

I´m not totally sure but i think the 50W SL-X i bought new when it came out in 1993 didn´t come with a footswitch. Think i had to order it afterwards.

Does the new Reissue Dual Reverbs you can buy now come with a footswitch?

Why do they still put 5881 valves in them?
