2205 Problem maybe

Postby Mats A » 29 Jan 2012, 14:22

Rehearsed with my 2205 from 1990 tonight. After a song "The Boys Are back In Town" when i stopped playing the amp squeeled and made a kind of feedback even when the volume on the guitar was on 0. I had to turn off the amp and when i turned it on again it was gone and the amp worked fine. What could have made this? I had played for maybe 2 hours when it happened.

I had something like that on my 2203 while running a Boss GE-7 in front of the amp. I realized that I had to change the battery of the pedal and then it worked fine.
I don't know if it's the same problem as yours ! sorry
