No, bias settings are different hence the resistor value change on the 6550 export models.
Yeah, I meant no major changes like transformers or anything like that. Always bias power tubes whenever you change them.

I was having a volume problem today when testing the amp. Found that i had an improper ground from the vi preamp tubes. I was able to remedy this and the amp have its volume back and sounds great. However, I still can't get a mv reading when trying to bias the power tubes. I think they may be a bit hot as well. Could they be red plating? What areas should i bee troubleshooting?
