tolex corners splitting....

My front tolex corners are spitting on both my JMP-style amps. (YJM and Class 5H). I believe this was due to what I was using to polish the amps with.

Is there way to kind of patch these up like some kind of touch-up putty or something? It is not very noticeable to
anybody else, but it bothers the shit out of me. I figured you JMP guys might know. Thanks a lot.

Post some pics, there are multiple ways to glue that back down.

You could try to re-activate the glue with a hair dryer... be sure not to apply too much heat, maintain adequate distance and keep the dryer moving. Hold the material down with painters tape while glue cures.

I will try and post some pics soon. I think it was due to the Black Magic I was using to polish the amps with. (Which was working out great) until now. It does not appear that is splitting along any known "seam" on the corners. I just sucks to have these 2 beautiful sounding/looking amps and now have a blemish on them.

I put a drop of super glue on any of the tolex splits on my gear. I then take the handle of a screwdriver, and smooth it out until it stays.... You can't tell where the spilt is when I'm done.
