Breaking in JMD1

Postby sheguitarplayer » 15 Jul 2010, 04:16

Ive owned my JMD for about 8 weeks now. Im really getting into how it sounds, and am even more impressed than when I first got it.
I am finding that the amp has 'filled out' a bit since I got it, a phenomenon I first noticed when I formerly owned a JVM1.
I have been using the JMD for 1-3 hours per day at pretty loud volumes and it feels like it has 'broken in' now.
Anyone else notice this?

Yes tubes and speakers do have a break in but the fact the amp is sounding better to is more to do with you becoming more aware of how to set it up with your guitars. I have had mine for five months now and have about 10 presets saved that I love. The amp continues to impress me.
