so it seems my other heads were jealous..

Postby sundance_kiddsg » 05 Jun 2010, 06:08

from lack of attention...
cos they must have cast a voodoo spell on my jmd1.
one moment it was working, the next there was no sound.
although just prior to that it howled a little.
there's still sound coming out from the headphone, just not through the cab.
at first i thought it might be the cab but i confirmed the cab was okay when tested with my other heads.
it's now in the shops for a checkup.
any idea what could be the problem?

Possibly a valve gone down.
Still my guitar gently weeps

thanks, steve.
i do hope it will be as straightforward as that.
since it is still under warranty, i figured i'll bring it in rather than attempt any self-remedy.

great to have my baby back...
was beginning to show wihthdrawal symptoms...
as it turned out, according to the shop, it was the preamp tube acting up.
which didn't occur to me, since i had sound coming out from the headphones :think
anyhoo, just had my shot again and i'm a happy bunny :dance
