First Mods completed

It might just be me but missing the white piping and the lite in the on switch was such a huge turn off. $20.00 later and a 1/2 of time and this is what it looks like..

Sweet, so how hard was either to replace? Do you simply pull the black piping out and roll the white stuff in? Was the switch plug and play? I would like to do this also.

Very simple, the switch was pull 4 wires and put in same location on the new switch. The piping took a little wire due to having to line it up. But very fast mods and IMO it looks way better.

Did you use the large or medium piping? also take a look at the link below, is this the right switch?

What's the deal with the rocker switch change? How is the crossover from black unlit switch to illuminated switch so easy? What's powering the LED?

Does this mean you could do the same on the VM?

Marshall did away with the 5 wires a few years ago so I would say yes; although its not my amp so I can't tell you for sure. What I do know is the switch is rated the same so that it works for mine it should for yours. But at no time do I accept responsibility for any amps; but it works for mine.

I missed the red rocker too so I ordered one in. Not sure if it is a genuine part, it was made in France. I did a straight swap of the wires and switched on. Bang! Fuse exploded. About an hour and several fuses later I checked my mates wiring on his JVM and copied that. Success! Make sure you have spare fuses if you don't order the same part as guitarest. It's only a small cheap superficial part but I like it!
