Postby ItsChrispyTv » 01 Feb 2011, 10:23

Well, I just love the sound of the amp and its features but really its only tribute bands that can get away with signature gear, i want that tone but not slash's sig on it, no offence to slash or anyone i love him and his music but i hate having signature gear, Anyway could anyone advice me on how to do this?

If you must do this be sure you can easily restore it to original later. Here is a link for custom made amp faceplates.

So I suppose you don't or won't play a Les Paul? :Cheers

I'm a Slash fan and have an AFD100 on order but have never been a fan of sig gear. The thing that wins me over on this is that unlike most sig gear that's basically a production model with a tweak or two, teh AFD is a significant step forward.

And unlike a Kerry King or Zak Wylde sig amp that really are unmistakablt "theirs", I think the AFD100 is actually very subtle in it's branding. You have to be very close to see the sig.

Just my 2c
Be good... or be good at it!!!
