Changing power tubes really doesn’t change the tone of the amp as much as people think-John Suhr
And anyway, the real tonal differences in amps come from the circuit design, not the tubes-John Phillips

very nice, done very tastefully, like most effects should be used, most of the time. How do you like the Plexidrive? I'm thinking of getting either the plexidrive or the plexstortion from wampler. From the sound clips the drive sounds better on the rhythm, the plexstortion sound fatter on the leads. Although your solo sound excellent here with the plexidrive. again very nice tones and playing.

Thanks AA, I think you are right, the Plexidrive is better for rhythm because of its lower gain and compression. For this lead tone I was using the LP's Neck pickup, and the pedal was on Full gain (level was only on 4 though), the amp master was on 5 which is a bare minimum for using pedals imho.
