I like that they are staggering the releases. It gives me time to buy an amp, save, buy amp, and so on.
Im seriously foaming at the mouth right now!!!!!!
Not happy about the limited edition crap. Seriously, enough. I bet these things are gonna sell like hot cakes and the demand will force Marshall to build more.
And 1 Watt???
C'mon guys, its time to enter the 12-25 watt market. Big head sales are down. People are buying lower watt stuff because they are more usable these days with the powerful PA systems available. They are also too freakin expensive.
These 1 waters are nice collectables, great for home bedroom practice and probably recording, but nothing beyond that.
Sweet water has the jtm1 listed at 1000 with a line crossed through it for the head. Im thinking its gonna be $750.
sounds amazing but have the learned about the small rattling combos is the question

Im hugely disappointed I dont think that Marshall should rely so heavily on small amps for their 50th anniversary it doesnt make sense to me... its the "father of loud" 50th and what they release?? 1w amps! c'mon... I hope that the amps on the sides of the big pic will bring something new

DSL1 Marshall launched the JCM2000 Dual Super Lead which is the inspiration for the DSL1, the fourth model in the 50th Anniversary One Watt Range. Staying true to the original tone of the DSL and incorporating two channels, this amp will take you from a resonant clean to a classic high gain lead sound at the press of a switch. Tone Shift and Deep switches also reduce the mid character and add low end resonance respectively.

Maybe Marshall is having a paradigm shift. Maybe they want to also be know as the "Mother of Quiet".

My Bad, trying to tweak this forum from a smart phone don't work so well. I think I have it sorted now. NAMM is cool as ever, lots of great new gear coming. The 1 watt amps are really cool and as you already have heard they do sound great. Even better in person. I will have a video I will upload tonight.
This celebration for Marshall needs to be looked at as a rock concert, playing some of the old stuff first, as the show goes on there will be MORE classics sprinkled in it leading up to the encore. So while these new 1 watt amps are the answer to getting some great Marshall tones at lower volumes, it also fills a range not offered by Marshall before. Personally up close I dig the JMP.
Will get a video posted up tonight and all the pics will be up by Monday. Fun stuff.

Is the boost function that is added to the original circuit like a mod? How is it done like a booster in the front or? They do sound great but too small to gig with if you don´t have very good monitors on stage.

So, definitely cool, maybe one of the coolest things Marshall has ever done. But as many have stated - and I agree - the price is very dissappointing. At $750 it has priced me out, which really has me upset since I want one of each.
Yesterday I bought another Vintage Modern for $600 on eBay.
Last week I bought a DSL100 for $560 on eBay.
So the question to everyone is, why would I pay $750 for a 1watt head, when I can buy the real thing for cheaper? If they were $399, I'd already have ordered all 4. So either I'll never own one, or wait for them to show up on ebay for $500 or so, and only buy 1.
Just don't understand the logic behind the marketing.

Not a fan... I agree with MarshallInTown. Cool concept, but gawwwwwwwddd.
I know they got "leaked" awhile back, but still I was hoping for a cool new 100/50 watter for the 50th. And as Sully said, alittle overpriced? I'll stick with my VM and AFD right meow.
