Brighter than the Split Channel? I think the Split channel (Got a 2205) isn´t bright sounding at all. It´s very dark sounding and can be a bit dull and lack attack. It´s almost like the top end was filtered away. Maybe that is why John Norum who uses these use his wah wah pedal a lot on solos.
