Hi ,

just too much gain channel 3 , never really use it. Love the other 2.
Does anyhow know how to reverse the channel 3 Lead mod ( which I understand adds more gain by adding in gain from channel 2)

thanks

This chart shows in the first column what the LE's had on channel 3.

thanks , id also heard that snipping a resistor cuts out a section of channel2 that adds to the gain stage?

As i have the 5881 version would you recommend going to the le resistors or all the way back top the first specs?

Actually i will ask first why the gain control and turning off the gain boost isnt giving a satisfactory gain reduction?

It just isn't , Ive played the 6100 before ,and this is much more saturated. Seems very compressed.Very sweet but artificially so. Feels like it needs to breathe a bit more.

The person to ask about the differences because he currently has both the LE and LM would be Sigi at the Marshall museum.

Surf also has an LE and had an LM. Maybe he can say how much of a difference there was.
