Sorry buddy that's my fault.

Yep sounded sweet. That was some pristine cleans! What would you compare the clean channel with regarding other Marshall amps?

Is it Jtm cleans? Jvm?

I thought the amp sounded awesome in both channels.
Many Marshall's, and I want more.

My fault too - sorry Surf....

& hell yeah it sounded good - waiting to be able to pre-order this baby!!!

Is there any footage at all of the clean channel cranked?? I'm expecting a JTM type sound from it but would like to hear it - that bit seems to have been overlooked by Nick Bowcott in his hurry to get to the crunch channel...

The clean channel is based of the cleans of the JVM.

I believe its channel 1 orange.

No thing on the thread guys, your opinions matter. :Thumbs :Thumbs

It is actually based on the JVM2 clean green with a couple of minor tweaks.

Yep I've played my pops jvm2 on the clean/green very nice. As cleans go for Marshall I thought it was the best clean. Although I've always been a sucker for that glassy fat clean of a Jtm. :D

I didn't get round to maxing out the jvm tbh. I was soley using it for clear cleans. Sounded lovely with pedals, delays, chorus etc. Took them really well even most fuzz's. The Jtm is IMO quite a fat bold clean sound. A little more ooomph in the bass. Maxed you get break up to mild overdrive. A beast in the tone department! The jtm1 has a little more gain than a standard, although I still like to boost it with something for that extra sustain.

Great sounding and a great feature set. I love the fact that Marshall is continuing the development of lower powered amps at a good price. :Thumbs
