Hi people im new to this forum so 'ello!
I'm not one for small talk so i'll get straight to the point.
my band play covers of all sorts of varieties : funk, Blues, Rock
I like to have my LDR as a cleaner, funkier setting with a little crunch, so i'm able to use it for Red Hot Chilli Peppers to Rolling stones to James Brown songs.
When I switch from my LDR into HDR though, my HDR comes through a hell of a lot louder.
So I can't use my prefered LDR settings, because the volume difference (between LDR & HDR) is too much! To combat it I have to have my LDR settings cranked up more than I would prefer, so the differences aren't too dissimilar. Perhaps its my EQ settings causing this volume difference, but that wouldn't make sense as they are not 'extreme' in any way
Settings: treb, mid, presence: 1 or 2 o' clock. Bass: full. Detail: 1 o' clock. Body: 2 o'clock. Midboost: ON
I'm going to have a proper fiddle on tuesday at rehearsal but was wondering if anyone else has this problem. Could it be my settings or the amp?
Thanks in advance,
Louis
