That's what I was thinking too.
You would think that a solid management production plan would immediately call for stepping up production to meet the demand. Production shortages can only result in capturing a lot less of a profit on a potentially very lucrative product. I realize that they have to keep quality control up, but I would think that they have the capability of securing the components and maintaining excellent quality control.
I think Marshall keeps a lot of corporate decisions, etc., well out of the light and unavailable to anyone outside their insulated organization.
I know that people are purchasing other amps because they can't get the DSL40C's that they really want. They just don't want to wait around, for lots of reasons. So they definitely are losing out on sales.
The situation just doesn't seem to add up or make a lot of sense.
